Ease of Use
GetResponse scored 5 out of 5 stars for Ease of Use. They offer over 350 templates that are very flexible and allow you to edit or replace the images included. GetResponse offers templates with up to three columns of text. They also offer 1 GB of image hosting space, which is far beyond our Market Standard of 5 to 10 MB. With a larger amount of hosting space, you can store more pictures online. They also offer a WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to see exactly what your email recipients will see as you are editing your campaign. You can also remove the vendor’s logo from your eNewsletter for free.
GetResponse offers an automated spam checker that will ensure your email campaign doesn’t get flagged as spam. GetResponse's service has an autoresponder, which can help you set up automated messages for your subscribers, such as a welcome email. Their Facebook and Twitter integration allows you to ideally increase sign-ups through your social network. They also offer A/B testing, which allows you to test out specific demographics to determine how to get more readers to open your emails. Additionally, GetResponse offers Google Analytics, which is a tool that tracks the traffic of your readers from your email campaign to (and throughout) your site. GetResponse also offers iPhone and Android apps.
GetResponse scored 4 out of 5 stars for Managing Contacts. With GetResponse's paid plans, you are able to import contacts when saved as a CSV file. However, GetResponse has average contact management for their free trial, which only allows you to cut and paste contacts. You can import contacts from an Excel file, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, Salesforce, Outlook, and Outlook Express. They will remove unsubscribes and bounces from your email lists automatically, making it easy to have a “clean” contact list.
